This year we participated in the Best Robotics competition! Well, Capital Best Robotics.
This year's theme is "Just Plane Crazy"! Teams have to design and build a robot that assembles a plane by stacking plane parts. Then the robot has to hoist the completed robot in the air, move it in to the "delivery" section of the coarse and hang the completed plane on a magnet hanging from above!
We as a team decided that hoisting the assembled plane into the air and on a magnet is a secondary task. Our team decided to strictly build a robot to assemble a plane and put it in the assembly area, but not in "flight". Other teams have decided to do even less! They will only move the plane parts into the "construction zone" of the coarse and not even bother even attempting to build the plane! I think we will win!
Ok its final here's the design! It took a lot of adjustments and a lot of hard work but, an't it beautiful? I'm sure that this robot will go up and over the expectancy of its efficiency and quality!
Wow! This competition went by way to fast. Well I'm sure glad we did good! We placed 17th in the competition!
