League of United Latin American Citizens

The LULAC Youth and Univercity of Texas Leadership Academy will be hosting two morning seminars at UT Austin. Both sessions are "Free." Pick up applications in the Counselor's Office. Seating is limited. Snacks and lunch will be provided. Deadline is January 27th. If selected, UT Academy will notify you by mail with instructions and map where workshops will be held. The first workshop will be saturday, february 21st.

LULAC Youth Council is an organization of students whose goal is to volunteers in projects to help your local community. A major focus of LULAC Youth is to encourage high school students to pursue higher education.

LULAC Youth gives students the opportunity to participate in extra curricular activities. This participation is what colleges like prospective students to have a record of, in the admission consideration process.

LULAC Youth is open to ethnic groups and nationalities. The age group is 14-19.

Applications available with Mr.Perez in the 700 building and also with Mrs.Castillo, SAC Room.
